Should we even play comeptitive at the moment?

You just are below average then?

Literally my first sentence stated that I'm aware I'm below average...

You should be focusing on what you have control over and looking for reasons why you aren't higher outside of yourself isn't going to change your ranking or your skill.

Neither I nor most customers are autistic. Lol, I've never seen the fact that someone would have a specific complaint used to attack them for being "too focused". Even if you're only 11 you have to be aware that people can focus on different things at different times...

Ultimately, the system is out of your control.

It's not though. Kaplan and Blizzard have repeatedly reminded us that they listen to our complaints. Anyone who's followed OW development pre release, and even people who've only followed post release, will know that community complaints even from reddit have factored into actual game changes. They have stated that in considering these changes, they will ditch a "better" solution in favor of one that the customers feel is better, because psychology is that critical to their product. I would argue it isn't merely about feelings though, they simply don't have a system that measures skill effectively and so should stick to winrate like MMR was invented for.
