Should I finish app academy open? I need career advice.

I am cs major.

Companies here in interviews focus on - data structures, algorithms, OOPS, aptitude and reasoning, networking and coding problems.

They hire majorly for software developer role and not for web dev role though. They can ask one to work on java, or python or any technology.

Tbh I was more focused on web dev because I thought that if I became good enough, I would be able to freelance on side and help my family. Last year was really bad for my family financially tbh. I was depressed and failed in two exams.

I will study and clear those exams though. I was good in academics throughout, I had my tution fee waived, but last sem was really bad. I am scared about my future.
