Should I just abandon this job or go in and quit since they’ll probably fire me anyways?

Did you injure yourself at work? r/legaladvice

How long do you expect to be injured?

Depending on your circumstances you may be eligible for some form (because it varies by country/other jurisdiction - though I assume you're in the US) of unemployment compensation, workman's compensation, and/or social security disability. Or your country's equivalent(s).

If I was in your situation I'd go in for a couple hours and then tell them you need to leave for your injury. Hopefully they tell you "you're fired" because you need to be fired for unemployment compensation. Though it sounds like you may be eligible for like I said workman's comp or disability.

Post on r/legaladvice or talk to a lawyer on the phone or in person!
