Should I learn Baritone so i can attempt to play in a DCI group (I only play clarinet and am going to college for it)

Trombone was my main instrument through middle and high school but when I got to high school my band director (Cadets 96) forced me (us) to learn Baritone because he wouldn’t allow our band to “march slides”

I never “marched Corp” but it was a cool experience, I’m glad I learned something new and I’m proud of my ability to hold that heavy ass horn 10 degrees above zero while playing and marching our uncharacteristically difficult show!

Drumcorp is designed to be for elite musicians and I’m not sure that you’ll get good enough at the horn to be able to march Corp with it. But just auditioning would be cool, so you should go for it! But start NOW!
