Should LGBTQ+ People be Allowed to Teach?

The OP erased their text in the discussion box and left the title, which takes the entire context out and makes this whole thing into some rallying call for a fight. it basically said the teacher was "apparently fired for teaching lgbtq+ literature in class". In all seriousness, that's fine if it's ok with the school. You have to ok things that might be controversial or it can blowback on you. It's easy to take the title without the context and be driven to rage lol. Without the context, the answer is "yes LGBTQ+ people should be able to teach because they are humans. Humans sexual preference has no bearing on school life or their teaching unless they purposely make it that way".
