I'm really confused. You own the whole building that has 2 units. You now have 3 people, and 1 bedroom, while MIL and SIL have 3 bedrooms.

Why don't you move into the larger unit you own, and have MIL and SIL live in the 1 bedroom? They are living in your house, that means they get what you have to share after putting yourself first. Keep your privacy, and use the space your own to benefit your family (you, hubs, and baby).

How old is SIL? If she's a kid, she'll be moving out eventually and get her own space. If she's an adult, she can put up with the space you offer or move out. You should definitely swap for the bigger place and keep your privacy. MIL is lucky you let her live there at all while she continues to purposely put everyone at danger with the virus.
