Should NCWTS drivers be inducted into the HoF?

Okay, so let's throw out Crafton's first three full-time seasons in the series and jump to 2004, when he finally had a breakthrough and finished 5th in points. The top 16, or half of the current maximum field, in the series were:

  1. Bobby Hamilton - 1 championships & 10 wins in the series and 4 Cup wins

  2. Dennis Setzer - 4 top 3 finishes in the NCWTS standings and 18 wins in the series

  3. Ted Musgrave - 1 championship, 5 top 3 finishes in the NCWTS standings and 17 wins in the series

  4. Carl Edwards - 6 wins in the NCWTS, 1 NXS championship, 38 NXS wins, and 24 Cup wins

  5. Matt Crafton - 8 NCWTS wins & 2 championships

  6. David Starr - 4 wins in the series

  7. Jack Sprague - 28 wins, 3 championships, and 2 second place finishes in the standings in the series

  8. Travis Kvapil - 9 wins and 1 championship in the series

  9. Steve Park - 1 NCWTS win, 3 NXS win, & 2 Cup wins

  10. Chad Chaffin - 2 NCWTS wins

  11. Mike Skinner - 28 wins, 1 championship, and 4 top 3 finishes in the series

  12. Rick Crawford - 5 wins & a second place finish in the standings in the series

  13. Shane Hmiel - 1 win in the series

  14. David Reutimann - 1 win & a 3rd place finish in the standings in the series along with 1 NXS & 2 Cup wins

  15. Jon Wood - 2 wins in the series

  16. Terry Cook - 6 wins in the series

In 2014, the top 16 in points were:

  1. Matt Crafton - 8 wins and 2 championships in the series

  2. Ryan Blaney - 3 wins in the series and 2 in the NXS

  3. Darrell Wallace Jr - 5 wins in the series

  4. Johnny Sauter - 10 wins in the series & 3 in the NXS

  5. Timothy Peters - 8 wins in the series and finished 2nd in the standings once

  6. German Quiroga - ???

  7. Joey Coulter - 1 win in the series & a third place finish in the standings

  8. Ben Kennedy - ???

  9. Jeb Burton - 1 win in the series

  10. Bryan Silas - ???

  11. Mason Mingus -- ???

  12. Tyler Reddick (only ran 16 of 22 races) -- 2 wins

  13. Tyler Young -- ???

  14. Ron Hornaday Jr (only ran 16 races) -- 51 wins & 4 championships in the series

  15. John Wes Townley -- ???

  16. Jennifer Jo Cobb -- ???

Notice how the 2004 group that ran full-time (and therefore competed with Crafton for the championship) includes a total of 9 championships to the 2014 group's 2 (both Crafton's)? Notice how everyone in the 2004 group has won in the series whereas only 8 (half) of the 2014 group has? Notice how Jennifer Jo Cobb is in the 2014 group?

Crafton has had two of the easiest championships in truck series' history the last two years as he's basically won two championships by not fucking up. Not running well -- just not fucking up.
