Should parents put parental controls on their child's computer? (If so, what ages?)

I am not sure what psychoeducation means, we did meet and go over things with a child neurologist. Most outside of that has been online help groups and personal education. Of course living with him we have learned his quirks pretty well and how to handle them. His physical therapy (toe walking) and speech are done at school during the day. He also has a special class that works on his interactions and how to handle situations.

As far as his school my wife and I were really frustrated how a lot of things were being handled (including last year). Financially we can not afford a private school. And all of them by us are religion based (we are non religious). Homeschooling came up, but my wife works. I also personally believe taking him out of social situations all together would be negative. Although having constant negative interactions provided by his peers aren't helping things either.

He had gotten in a lot of trouble the past two years for hitting and fighting. Not to be defensive of him but many seemed to be started by his classmates. For instance a few happened in the bathroom where he was pushed into the sink. He fought back, but of course got in trouble. Although recently he hit another student for moving around too much in lineup who was in front of him. sigh

I will say though since the major incident and many lectures from us he has been doing much better. We even have been getting positive phone calls, notes and he got student of the week last Friday. They implemented more activities for him, advanced class work, science stuff to do during recess (he use to just stand by the building) and its helping.

Kind of a relief for us as problems were constant. =)

Thanks for all the responses!
