Should players own the Core Rule Book for your game?

Thats alright IF they are still learning

I mean, most do, but I don't see how "make an attack roll" is so much easier than "roll this".

I am gonna give you shit.

I mean, that's your choice, I guess.

I had a player that was unable to tell which die was which, even after over a decade of playing. It's possible they had some kind of disability, or they just really don't get shapes. It doesn't matter either way, as I had no issue just telling them "roll the green one".

I had another player who did have a genuine disability, and was too slow doing basic math to reasonably do the math for most RPGs. I had no problem handling it for them.

And, since my games are about me having fun with my friends, I'm not going to require them to show a disability card to get my help. Maybe they work nights and just aren't up for dealing with all the rules. Maybe they run a game on a different day and it's too complicated to keep the rules straight for both games. I really don't care, since as the GM I can handle 100% of the rules.

They learn them? Fine. They don't? Fine. Really doesn't have that much of an impact on my games.
