On this sub there is a karma price for posting what should I get type questions. There is also a karma price to be paid for posting discussion questions that most people could resolve on their own by asking themselves simple questions like, "can I afford to buy this product for leisure entertainment without worrying it about it disrupting my own finances," or another is, "will the money that I spend as a freelance or entrepreneur on high end hardware pay for itself with the revenues it can generate."

Don't worry though about the downvotes though, because it helps help the front page of the sub free of clutter so people can see new information.
