Should I quit my art degree while I still can?

I dunno, most modern art to me looks like it was made by an AI already. People aren't paying for how it looks, people are paying for the name most of the time. That being said a pretty small group of people end up with big names. I'm not particularly planning to be successful in the fine art world.

AI is coming but it's not here yet. With respect to software or other graphic design fields, I'd plan to get in now and just adapt as the field changes. There are always going to be jobs a computer can't do. The people who designed physical copy and hand drew typefaces in the 70s moved to computers. The people in graphic design today might move to AI in the future. Its easier to get paid to learn something on the job.
