Pal, I've done even worse, and I'm going to resit. If you know where you messed up, you can know where you can work on, besides you have a whole year for it.

Like for me, I had all the knowledge, but struggled on exam technique and stress got to me during exams, didn't sleep, eat, overthinking etc.

Work your ass for another year, watch even more opportunities open up for you. A year out of your life isn't wasted, I was planning to do a gap year anyway so in a way it's alright to me but in the grand scheme of things, 1 year isn't a lot. Maybe you'll be starting work a year later than your mates but you've got the better grades you wanted, perhaps at a better uni, opening up more job offers for you?

But at the end of the day, it's your choice man
