Should schools reopen during the pandemic? The rest of Canada is watching as Quebec gets ready to try

How do you figure it can’t end well? What end do you want or I guess I should say not want? You know what else shouldn’t be a gamble? staying inside for the foreseeable future... I honestly just can’t see the logic with the “keep things closed forever” people, it’s baffling. So wait hopefully until next year at the earliest for a vaccine? This isn’t a movie plot or fun experiment, you think once things reopen because the government says “it’s ok now” come September that means the chances of getting sick are automatically over? What difference do you suggest this makes other than just prolonging the inevitable then? It isn’t a gamble to open schools or anything else up for that matter, it is what it is, and unfortunately a percentage of vulnerable sectors of the population will die (and blame the Chinese gov’t) from this.. JUST like they could and HAVE from a myriad of other flu/respiratory viruses everyday, every year, since forever. Being cognizant of hygiene and if you’re vulnerable or are in close contact with someone who is or in poor health, remaining mindful of that and to make your choices based on those personal risks should be what is happening but seems like everyone else prefers to go broke, suffer and panic. We aren’t overwhelming the healthcare centers and won’t with keeping very easy and minimal protocols in place. Stupid.
