That’s kinda the THING around here tho. A quick peruse around here for a new light player would tell them that if they’re not using XYZ weapon, they won’t be some alpha god in crucible. Let’s say you jump into a LFG, if you’re not using XYZ then you can be left in the cold. There’s some new “meta” people will complain about, and the pack follows. So if you’re using it you’re trash and need a crutch.

People are being conditioned this way because of the community’s actions. This could very well be a very vocal minority, but they are there. I don’t like getting Jotunn’d to the face, but hey...I could’ve played better. I won’t shit on dude that caught me slipping.
