Should women get “reasonable accommodation” in the work place and schools for their periods? If so, what should that be?

In the first place, I'm not advocating for the current system. I'm pointing out the causes that led to it. It's not something that happens all around North America in millions of classrooms because teachers are control freaks who wish to violate basic human rights. It happens because kids beat each other up in bathrooms, have sex in bathrooms, destroy bathrooms, skip class etc.

Do you think schools didn't try stricter punishment? Do you really think it makes sense to try not to prevent it? Do you have any idea how hard the media, police, lawsuits, etc come down on school districts when this stuff happens?

As I said, my proposed solution is more constant monitoring though it requires funding. I think we should have adult staff (not cops) hired just to monitor the halls and bathrooms. I really can't think of a way around it given the current school system organized as it is.
