Do you think the show will shoehorn in a Criston/Alicent romance in S2? (Spoilers Extended)

To be fair, not a whole lot of men in this day and age have bad experiences with mediaeval battles but a lot of women have serious trauma from horrific birthing experiences.

A huge number of women have also lost children to still birth and miscarriages too. Then take into account their partners who had to witness and in some cases hold in their own emotions to support those women

Things hit a lot when they still happen. The number of women who stopped watching after the C section death in episode 1 was pretty high. There were a lot of discussions around the scenes with the resounding consensus being that it's up there with the unnecessary rapes in GoT; people go through this shit and seeing it in graphic detail on screen isn't a escapist fantasy element like dragons and battles.
