Shower thought: I think Dopa would make one hell of an analyst.

I'll believe it if I see it. As far as I'm aware most people I see on reddit have pretty big egos and think their opinions are so important and their insight can't be wrong that almost regardless who disagrees with them they can't simply accept it, and have to continuously argue. You see it all the time on the summoner school subreddit, where bronze and silver players argue with for e.g. ama threads of 1 trick champ mains that hit masters or challenger, you also see it for instance on the majority of pants are dragon videos etc. People just generally think they know shit and take things personally when someone disagrees with them, little of it really has to do with what the person's actual credentials are. Another prime example you see is all the pretend lawyers you get on reddit any time a ruling comes out, who would argue with for instance esportslaw, similarly with journalists about journalism when they have never written an article themselves or have any idea how they actually work simply google search it then think they know it all.

It might be a bit cynical, but I don't really give much credit to the majority of people online or expect them to have a constructive discussion or to be able to actually listen. For the most part people just want to feel their opinions matter and want to give their input even if their input is based on very little.
