Ah, I see where you’re coming from now. Well it’s legal for recreational use where I live now but I was a medicinal card holder for about a decade before that. Only time I ever had trouble was when I was trying to get a job at Walgreens in my late teens/early 20s. I tested positive for THC and tried to tell them I had a medical card and they said something to the effect of “Walgreens doesn’t recognize the legitimacy of medical marijuana” and refused to hire me.

Other than that one time I’ve never had issues with work and drug testing and I worked at quite a few places.

I would recommend seeking out employers that don’t drug test or even better but more time consuming is get certified or get a degree. If you’re highly qualified for a job and don’t get high at work an employer may be more inclined to overlook it.

I feel like it was way worse here in Cali 10-15 years ago with attitudes towards marijuana than it is now. People are becoming more open minded as more people begin to accept it as a form of medicine. I hope your state isn’t too far behind.
