Sick of my father telling me that I'm a catholic

Well, you're family doesn't seem to get that, ok, sure. But at least their not a bunch of assholes. Do you have any idea how worst it could have been?

My recommendation: I get your frustration, but don't be so selfish, just try to understand that for your family it seems natural to get confirmed. They obviously love you don't force you to do it, they are just confused as to how come you don't believe in God, try to understand them.

For Pete's sake, don't let this ruin your relationship with your family man. Also something you could/should do, is maybe go talk to a priest, tell him you don't believe, tell him what are your problems.

This way you don't have to "lie" and you might just make your family a bit happier in that they see you care about their concerns. And you're not violating in any way shape or form your religious disbelief.
