Sick of PCMR and decided to come here.

Have you been to the PCMR subreddit lately? It's mostly shitposts and reposted satire; and horrible satire at that. Everyone there seems to be under the age of sixteen and probably don't understand half the garbage they post. They just jump on the bandwagon and ride it to wherever.

Most PS4 games are lucky to run @ 1080 or 30fps. I personally consider this a disgrace, and completely unacceptable in 2016. We've all had 1080 HD TV's for OVER A DECADE now, and games are coming out on these "next gen" consoles that have to run at 900p?

1080p TVs only began picking up with consumers within the past few years. Back when the XB1 and PS4 were first released, the majority of consumers had TVs running 720p. If someone's buying a console, I doubt

don't fill up forums with nonsense about how great our consoles are

I'm going to be honest here. The majority of the time it's your boys back in PCMR that bring their "entitled opinion" and cause arguments. I see it all the time on YouTube's comment section and forum sites. They post where it isn't necessary and sometimes they're extremely immature.

and ranting misconceptions

Yes, ranting misconceptions are quite annoying. There are quite a few that people on PCMR like to throw out as well. One of their biggest arguments is "Games are cheaper on PC...". No, they're really not. All triple A games cost the same on all platforms. DOOM is $60 on the Xbox store and it's still $60 on Steam. Not much savings there.

I used to like PCMR back when it was a tongue-in-cheek joke. Nowadays, it's just a laughing stock to me. People take it way too seriously and as I've stated above, there isn't really anything worth seeing on that sub anymore.
