I'm not American and I'm not pro or anti gun.. but everyone saying ban them is missing a lot more of the picture. Millions upon millions of Americans are employed in the gun industry, if you ban guns that's millions of people without a job. Jobs that people trained to get to. Those people could starve or not afford medical bills. There could be more death as a result. When a country is so invested in something you can't just change it. It would be the equivilant of the UK government deciding over night to disband the NHS. Jobs would be lost and people would suffer and before anyone says well it's different as there would be no health care, we already have a privatised health care system that's equally as expensive...
