Sign Petition to Stop DoorDash From Opening a Distribution Center on a Residential Street

At one point the street was mixed but it is not anymore. My original post goes through the history of the lot and has links. Short version:

A temporary hardware store was allowed to open on the lot in 2013. When it opened it had a side parking lot and 16k sq ft warehouse in the back. Now, there is a residential development directly abutting the building where those structures used to be. The hardware store has been closed for two years, and the only other structures on the block are educational or residential. Why did this change take place? Because the City's FLUMstates that the block should be used exclusively for moderate residential uses. DoorDash is trying to take advantage of a loophole that the City did not bother addressing.
