Fully onboard with this choice! One of our longest serving players, British and a player who is okay with being part of a rotational system. Him and Ash - we need those kind of players going forward. They know what it takes to win trophies here. And hey - what if Jones and Ash are personalities that fit in at United better than most. A player can have all the best skills in the world, but at United you have to be a good player AND have the right mentality and personality. It´s not one or the other.

Besides, players with confidence who the manager shows great belief in can make a huge difference alone. Yes, he has had a few shaky moments in the last games, but do not forget that slip-ups are easier to remember than the rest of the performance. We´ve conceded 8(!) goals in the last 10 games! Four clean sheets! And Jones has been a major contributor to those stats! So please, stop with the nonsense and give the guy som credit instead!
