Sikhs In US Offered Free Food To Thousands Of Workers Affected By Government Shutdown

Dude I'm not sure if you live in the west, but there is definitely no discrimination against Indian Sikhs or even Punjabi Hindus. Heck, there are even Gurdwaras in British Columbia that are literally right next to a Hindu temples. There is definitely no animosity between the communities, that sounds more like a talking point taken from Indian media.

As for the whole weapons thing, all I was trying to say was that it is not considered a sleight against Sikhism to bring in weapons into a Gurdwara. That's not a personal stance, it's just facts. Was it a smart decision for the Indian Army to start shelling the Golden Temple while it was packed with civilian pilgrims, on the most busy days of the year? We can sit here all day going back and forth about the wrongs of the Indian government and the wrongs of the Sikhs at the time. Civil wars are messy, and the one in Punjab was no different.
