Silicon Valley has taught a generation of men it's OK to dress badly

Never in my life have a read a more out of touch and pretentious article. What force is creating these fashion rules. Would you be dressing up like you have something to prove if you were worth 20-60 billion dollars? What the hell.

Clothing is used to signal you are not poor and in good health. It is used to show you can afford a decent amount of income to well fitting attire. It is used to show off brand status.

You think elon gives a shit if his shoes are gyw or if he looks like a basic office worker? No he’s building cars and rockets and has branded himself as a cool guy like tony stark. How stupid would it look if he wore button downs and dessert boots all the time. Not very interesting.

These people don’t need to show off or follow some basic bro rules to show their economic potential.

The basic male fashion outfit is a product of the middle class and the need to stay in a bracket that shows friends and coworkers that you too are middle class.
