Simon & Schuster is canceling the publication of 'Dangerous' by Milo Yiannopoulos

so we both agree this is disgusting, right?

First of all I do agree that the Pewdiepie thing was manufactured, and most of it is liberal outrage. While I don't personally watch or enjoy Pewdiepies content, that was 100% a smear campaign against him, with many things taken out of context. I do agree that the attacks on Pewdiepie were manufactured biased stories meant to destroy him.

The Milo thing though. I didn't even know about the Joe Rogan podcast thing. What I didn't like was what he said on the Drunken peasants podcast. I was satisfied letting him have his first amendment right to freedom of speech, I still do, and I thought he shouldn't have been banned on Twitter. I'm disgusted with the Berkeley thing, regardless of whether it was leftist students, or Marxists anarchists who didn't even attend Berkeley. Because of this I haven't dug into his past, I felt no reason to try and smear him, or paint him in any bad light. What he said on the drunken peasants podcast though definitely sounds like him defending a mature 13 year old to engage in a relationship with an older adult. Not even looking at his own experience with the priest. I'm all for dark humor, so the comment about giving better head doesn't bother me by itself. Even if he personally says he himself seduced the priest, I personally view it as an adult taking advantage of a minor, a child, who shouldn't be in that situation. I personally view him as a victim of a child predator, and on some level it sounds like he supports it in the case of the child being mature for there age. At that point I can understand why people would want to distance themselves from him.
