Simple Questions - ASK AND ANSWER HERE!- September 06

Sorry if this is a bit long! I have med school interviews soon, and I'd like to add pocket squares to my dark navy and charcoal suits (both solid, not patterned). They're both wool, so I was thinking of using cotton or silk squares. So far, what I have is my ties. The blue is for the dark navy suit, and the red/grey(?) for the charcoal suit.

Right now, I'm thinking of matching socks to suit color, but I'd be open to alternatives. Finally, I have some walnut AE Fifths that I was planning on wearing. Any ideas on how I should match pocket squares? I'm considering a yellow/blue combination (maybe yellow with blue polka dots if I can find them) for the navy suit, and something warm like red for the charcoal, but I'm worried that the red in my tie will make the fit look strange. I've heard that admissions committees are fine with people dressing how they like (within reason, of course), so I'd be open to suggestions that could spice up my outfit, not limited to just pocket squares. Also, would a tie clip on top be too much?
