Simple Questions - October 02, 2022

It's been 10 years since I last built a computer and I'm sure a lot has changed since then too. I've come up with this of things that I should be doing, am I missing anything or is there anything I don't need to do?

bios update - I'm using a 5800X3D with an x570 motherboard, according to the mobo website I should be able to install the 5800X3D and then update the bios normally instead of having to use the button on the back of the mobo.

TPM - I want to install windows 11 and saw somewhere that I need to turn this option on in the bios or I wouldn't be able to.

XMP

Install Windows 11

Then I should be good to update drivers for the motherboard like Wifi and audio

GPU & peripheral drivers

Change the monitor refresh rate

Undervolt my GPU and maybe even cpu?

Do I need to bother with the SSD programs? They all advertise them on their website but is things like Samsung Magician useful at all?

Is there anything else I need to do before installing programs and using my pc?
