Simple Questions - October 04, 2016

Hello, I'm wanting to build my first PC to use as an entertainment center for my apartment. I plan on just plugging it into my TV and using it to play video games, stream movies/TV shows, etc. Nothing too hardcore, as things will mainly be locked into TV settings (most likely 1080p & 60hz), but I don't want to get it and find out that it won't run most games or just run poorly. I looked around some websites and found a build that seems great to use: + GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 Mini 3GB ($199) + CPU: i5-6500 ($205) or AMD FX-6300 ($100) + Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 ($55) + RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB ($40) + HDD: 1 TB Seagate ($50)
+ Case: Rosewill Mini Tower Dual Fans ($25) + PSU: XFX 500W XT ($50) + Keyboard/Mouse: Microsoft Wireless Desktop 900 ($33)
+ OS: Windows 10 ($91) So this is great and all, but it roughly will run me ≈ $650. Bluntly, I don't think putting in $650 into a PC that is going to be used as an entertainment system will need everything on this list considering I'll just be using my TV instead of my monitor and won't need it to be a gaming machine or a monster PC. Considering this, is there any piece that could be replaced with something cheaper that won't really affect the PC overall or a piece that I've put too much money into that I don't need to considering what I'll be using it for. Thank you.
