Simple Questions and General Discussion Thread

Following this guide I cleaned up my DLC and update .esm's using SSEEdit. However after that step, the guide says they should appear in my Overwrite folder in my Mod Organizer 2 directory, but they aren't there. Can anyone tell me what went wrong?

And can I just manually move the .esm files to the overwrite folder in order to carry on with making them into a mod, or will that ruin things? I already double-checked in SSEEdit that the .esm files remain cleaned by checking that the manual deletion done towards the end of the cleaning remained deleted, so the cleaning has been saved.
