So, since it's clear the AMA, ACGMA, government, admins, etc. don't give an unholy shit about us, what resources to we have to protect ourselves?

Based on your post history, you’re still in med school. It isn’t EASY to quit residency. You can’t just find another job after that. You cannot sit there and practice as an MD in your specialty if you quit in the middle, even if you’re in the final months of training. You also are unlikely to be accepted to a different spot if you quit (especially if it’s a competitive residency). And, if you are, you have to complete all of it again.

I appreciate the hype up talk but we aren’t in a position where we can quit and find a better job. Attendings are. Nurses are. PAs are. We are screwed if we quit and the hospital administration knows that. It’s not as easy as treating this like any other job. It’s very similar to quitting med school in the middle except, now, picture already being 4 years of med school in debt.
