Since I love these threads: What is the most chilling experience you can remember?

I told this one way back in "what was your weirdest police call thread"

"Well, I can tell you about the old abandoned hospital...circa 1998. We got a call that a kid we were looking for was living in an abandoned hospital. The hospital had been replaced with a new facility and the building was bought by the local University for dormitories in the 70s. We called the University police and gained entry into the building. So picture this, we have 2 cops and 2 people from my agency, all going through a creepy old building, with no electricity. We go into the little cafeteria area, and off to the side is an office. Inside the office are gallon mayo jars from ceiling to floor. Probably 100 or so of them in the office. They were all filled with urine. Some crazy guy had been living in there and storing his own pee, which turns out is a fairly common thing to do with paranoid whack jobs. So, now I'm pretty on edge, and we are walking the halls and looking in rooms. A lot of rooms still have old beds and furniture. The nursery still had the incubators and plastic baby beds. They are the kind that had the green see through sides. Really creepy. We clear out the top four floors, and decide we better check the basement area real quick. The basement contained the morgue. The cops turn on the flashlights and the whole basement is empty except one metal bed with drains attached to it. At this point one of the cops flashlights starts getting really dim. The other cops flashlight just totally goes out. Now we are standing in an abandoned morgue with the dimmest flashlight in human history. (this is before smart phones BTW) So we all book it really quick to the double doors, and they are locked. Seriously, they locked behind us when we came in. We can see the other door on the other side of the room kind of slightly with some light coming through it. As we start crossing the room, the second flashlight goes completely dead, and we all start running to the door. Imagine 4 grown men running like scared little kids, through a dark morgue. On the other side of the morgue you can smell death. Dead bodies have a really weird smell. Really hard to describe, so I'm not going to do it. Turns out, that the crazy guy had fallen down the open elevator shaft and his body was at bottom.. The exit of the morgue was right next to where the elevator doors were. It was sort of like someone or something, wanted us to find the body. And just an FYI, the kid we were looking for had been staying at a girlfriends house, and he was safe."
