Since Mahathir is bringing up the water dispute with Singapore again, let me share some facts with the Malaysian friends here. You can judge if Mahathir is being unreasonable.

Yeah alot of people say that theres two sides to an argument. But if there are always two sides and everyone's arguing for it, then there will be no real progress. Not everything is a left or right choice.

I don't comprehend this. Are you saying that discourse between two parties opposing each other in an issue leads to no progress? Clearly something isn't right there.

Life is about picking the right side, based on reason and circumstance. And moving forward.

Im general there are two stakeholders in this issue. And both have conflicting interests. Both have the right to fight for their respective interests. By this it feels as though you are saying that only one side deserves to fight for their interest while the other has to wholly concede.

This is also my complaint with Malaysia. Everyone had a two side two party two major race etc etc. And is just bickering like kids. Chaos and pandemonium. No method and system.

In Singapore for example there is only one party , one nationality , one direction and that has served them so well.

Irrelevant to the argument, honestly. Malaysia and Singapore are two vastly different countries with very different demographics and geography. Comparing them would be like comparing an apple to a pear. Malaysia is far more complex and difficult to govern due to its larger size, greater diversity of ethnic groups, more economic sectors to focus on, etc. Not that Singapore is that easy to govern, but if you were to apply Singapore's method of governance on Malaysia, it just wouldn't work that well.
