Since we seem to be having some visitors from r/Israel today.

People very close to me who have ran certain (non Israel/BDS/Palestine etc) societies in universities that have had shills message them threatening all sorts of official complaints and what not.

Last one was received because said society promoted some inclusive culture day with some of the local Iranian community. You know, eat some of their food, learn about their culture, meet the people, listen to some music... totally innocent cultural exchange, non-political stuff.

Shill threatened to file a complaint as it was a rights/humanitarian based society and Iran is, to quote the bloke, 'anti-gay and anti-women and he as a gay man was offended.' or something of the sort.

His name or profile was disguised on the site, but gave enough away that with a simple Google search I found multiple accounts belonging to him on a load of sites, as well as threads in places like boards.ie where people were talking about run ins they've had with him. His facebook account had photos of him with Israeli politicians, hanging out in Tel Aviv, standing beside Israeli flags etc. Dudes from Dub.

I'd say very much on the payroll.
