In my opinion neither f2p, nor whale, nor dolphin, minnow or any kind of player should be like...an identity, lol? Everyone has their own reasons for how they like to play.

I'm personally of the opinion that if I really like and enjoy a free game, I will find a way to send some amount of money their way. I won't purchase progress, but I'll buy little treats for myself here and there, both for my own enjoyment - the way I'd treat any hobby - and to give something back to the game that gave me a ton of enjoyment.

But like, wearing ANY playstyle as a badge of honor is just so...like, you don't have anything else going on for you? THIS is the way you try to feel superior to others?
