Sinclair Forces Local TV Stations to Air Segment Defending Tear-Gassing Migrants

Evaluating arguments and bias are among the most central skills in the Common Core. The 6-12 curriculum for ELA and the humanities emphasize critical thinking almost to a fault (yes, this is possible, especially when children haven't mastered fundamental skills and/or aren't cognitively developed enough to engage in critical analysis).

Well I can tell you for damn sure no one I knew had any kind of critical thinking/philosophy class in high school, period. None of the university students I knew did either.

So you can say "oh this is the policy" or "oh it's in core curriculum" but that translates to fuck all in the real world.

You are living in times that are proof positive public education has failed. Take ownership of that.
