No. Both Atom and Fandango rejected the Sinemia virtual card I was provided, so had to buy my ticket out of pocket—but Sinemia still charged my credit card $1.80 service charge and another $1.00 for the Atom convenience fee Sinemia didn't even pay for a movie I couldn't get with my card.
I contacted Sinemia explaining the situation and explaining that I expect them to cover the ticket price I had to pay out of pocket. Received this response that doesn't even address the real issue:

We have checked your account details and see that you have been charged $1 for convenience fee as you have shared already. However, the Atom may have tried to charge more than $1 convenience fee ($1.35, $1.50, or $1.70) depends on the chosen movie theatre. Therefore, your one-time payment is getting declined by Atom payment processor. Please waive the convenience fee by using one of the tips below during your purchase and your one-time payment info is valid for 2 hours once it was created.
Here are a few tips that can help you avoid paying convenience fees when purchasing your tickets online. Please remember, if you have ensured that you will not be paying any convenience fees or you will cover it with your own rewards/ points, you can indicate this while creating an advance ticket in the Sinemia app to avoid any convenience fee.
-You may consider subscribing to theatres’ own programs which may waive convenience fees for online purchases when booking through their sites, Fandango, Movie Tickets, or Atom Tickets. Many theatres offer discounts for loyalty club members or waive online fees.
-Facebook U.S. mobile users who purchase a movie ticket on the service will automatically have a discount applied to their order total. The discount will be equal to any convenience fees applied by Fandango and Atom Tickets. Select the tickets via Facebook Movies, purchase your ticket(s) on Fandango or Atom Tickets and the convenience fees will be waived.
-Become an AMC Stubs member. Simply enter your valid AMC Stubs card number to have your convenience fee waived and earn points. AMC Stubs Premiere members not pay ticketing fees on AMC.com, Fandango and Movie Tickets.
-Join Showcase Starpass Reward Program and don’t pay for the convenience fees on Movie Tickets. Enter Starpass card number to earn points and have the convenience fees waived. MovieTickets.com will automatically send your card number along with your order to Showcase for processing. Your Starpass card must be swiped at the box office, kiosk or concessions stand to receive earned rewards. Starpass is managed by Showcase.
There are a few other programs out there which could help you get the convenience fees waived when purchasing online: Magical Movie Rewards of Marcus Theatres, Studio Movie Grill’s SGM program.
