Singapore approves sale of meat made in a laboratory, becoming first country to do so. Singapore is moving quickly to allow the sale of cultured meat, a move that fits into its broader food-security agenda. In response to the pandemic, Singapore is trying to produce 30% of its own food by 2030

I'm from the West Coast. And covid has completely undone the fabric of the society here. A rebuild is necessary. And I'm not sure I'm gonna stick around for it. I'm very happy to see the old familiar landscapes of my youth... but that's about it tbh. I think I'm too much of an ex-pat to return home at this point.

I think performing changes as you age. When you're young, it's great. And you're just grateful to be playing every day. Not much more to it than that. When you age, you get other interests. You start to see performing as a job. Then finally as a burden. That's when you know its time to quit. And go pursue those other interests. Hopefully you made some money along the way.

Mchel Foucault has a book called Madness and Civilization. It's a very interesting take on mental illness. I think that a lot of treatment is focused on conformity. And as an artist, that really bothers me. Was Van Gogh mentally ill? Or was he Van Gogh ffs? Our society can't really accomodate creatives. And they suffer as a result. I think a lot of people who are going to therapy, don't really need it. It's just a form of enforced conformity. By drugs if necessary. And if people just didn't give a shit about the culture, there'd be a lot less mental illness in the culture.
