Yeah that's a bit aggressive for me.

I worked as a supervisor/bouncer at pretty big clubs and have gotten in my fair share of altercations. Also I should add that I was probably one of the smaller bouncers you'd see (138lb 5'6") so I had a lot of people try and start fights.

It was always case by case of course but the idea was that, hey, people are concerned, nobody wants to get physical, and everyone is out here to have fun.

Once the fun part comes out, you can usually lead them towards the concerned part, get them to the bar, and get them some water. Usually this is enough for the person and their friends to realize what's going on without having to put anyone on blast.

Again. Case by case.

I don't think I've ever told anyone that they're cut off.

Thought I have had failures of the front door letting in the same person 3 times after having escorted them out every single time. (I was not a supervisor then but my god did I fucking rip those underpaid assholes a new one.)
