Where I live, in my life, there is little to no focus on sex. So I don't know why you say there should be less focus. I think there should be more.

Sex is absolutely not over-rated. This statement I don't agree with.

Of course, there are more aspects to life than being sexual. But being sexual is an essential, core and important and essential aspect of life.

As to your third point, why do you think everything is sexualized?? I don't know why you would imply that this is the case. This is not my experience. How is "everything" being sexualized? By whom?
