Single guys over 30, what's your monthly budget look like? I'm spending too much money on bullshit.

You might want to get this book, it is basic personal money management for people who hate reading about finance.

Get A Financial Life

It has a light tone, but with good information and will tell you everything you need to do in order to manage your money properly.

In the meantime, it is always easier to spend money than make it. Spending money on something you truly want and value is one thing.

However pissing it away is lame.

As much as possible, when you spend your money you want to be able to point to something a few weeks afterwards and say "yes, I enjoy having this".

Before you spend money on things that are not necessities ask yourself "what will happen to me if I don't buy this?".

Walk away. If you still need it or want it in a week or two it is worth buying. If it was just a momentary impulse you will not give a shit in a few hours.

Learn to cook and make your own meals. Not only will you save a ton of money, your food will be healthier and you will have a skill that will impress dates.
