Single people of reddit, do you want a GF or BF, why or why not?

Hey man. Recently single from minutes ago. I want to tour she wants me to stay. A girlfriend for me is something to sing about. (Kind of cutting lyrical corners; relatable to many, easy feelings to describe). I don't usually get emotionally invested but with the right person it can be a wholesome way to spend some time in life. She can give good advice too. Opposite genders look at things differently.

I want to tour. And it's worse on an artist to be invested into a SO since it closes a certain door for the fans that might be interested. I'm far from popular so it's not like it really matters. But I'm not going to get seriously involved with another woman unless she's really worth it, or its my ex, because I'm looking for low effort high reward in my relationships. For now. That might be a d*ck thing to do. But I'm trying to put in high effort for high reward in my work and I don't have the experience to juggle so many things at once successfully yet. It's not fair to anyone to promise something I'm not sure I can deliver on, not gonna do that to my girlfriend so I can't blame her.

Watch my optimism die in two weeks and all my music turn sad as I regret trying to ignore people's and my feelings. So,

Depends.
