One night stands. I was single for about 4 years before meeting my girlfriend about a year ago. And I was single for that long by choice. There would have been enough opportunities for me to get into a relationship but I simply didn't want to. I'm not a guy who is looking for meaningless sex or using women for it and therefore didn't have a new girl every weekend but every once in a while I met someone, no matter if it was at a party or in a random day to day situation, that I ended up taking home or going to this person's place. And every time I had sex with a (sometimes more, sometimes less) stranger it made me feel incredibly alive. If you ask me there's something so magic about two random people connecting in the most intimate way for just a moment. And I especially liked having a girl stay over and then the next morning you'd sometimes have breakfast together or not, depending on your connection when you are sober again. And in very rare cases even a friendship would grow out of it.
