Sissy/femboy culture in the transgender MTF community

I personally agree, I see it as a kind of philosophical self-unravelling. I think the issue mostly lies in the emphasis on the clothes and the humiliation dynamics. Gender isn't defined by clothing, and it's worrisome that someone may conflate being trans with a style of sock. I mean, not that liking that sock is invalidating, but like... anyone can enjoy thigh highs. I think doing something thats affirming and doing something that's shocking are pretty different. Now, I think early on, alot of transwomen go through a phase like this, but for me personally, I grew out of it very very fast once I actually discovered I was trans. Wearing women's clothes isn't exhilarating, it's ordinary. I don't feel like I'm crossing a line, and crossing a line is a dynamic that is integral to sissy culture. Sissy culture implies an underlying manhood which cannot be conflated with transfem culture, where there is no underlying manhood. Right? I mean, if I'm being nut right now, please let me know.
