You think that's bad, if you saw our break room and all the old crusty mold tupperware that keeps piling up in the community fridge you would puke. And there are a ton of vegans for some reason who bring in these weird soups and gumbos. So not only does the food smell like death when they microwave it, but the amount of flatulence is also boggling. WOMEN DO FART PEOPLE...all the time in my office it sounds like the bathroom stalls at a Mexican restaurant. Imagine having to crawl under a desk to fix a computer cable with the stench of that hanging around.

I remember one time this heavyset woman (one of these uber vegans) came back while I was diagnosing an issue with her monitors, and she plopped down hard into her computer chair which I had rolled out of the way to get under the desk. It squeezed out all the aroma that had been accumulating inside the foam right into my face. I almost puked...literally I gagged and had to leave the area. She came and found me and complained that it needed to be fixed now and that I was being lazy, so I had to go back and navigate the stench to try to get it sorted out. I've never felt so demeaned in my life having to breath in her shit particles while she sat there and watched while eating these stinky Chickpea chips she's always gobbling down.

The women range from late twenties to early forties, and many are divorcees or just plain miserable. Younger male employees do not seem to get hired on and if they do, they do not stay long because the atmosphere is very toxic, catty, and Hyper Feministic. I'd say its 80/20 female to male ratio with the men all being in 40s aside from me (38). The majority of the men work in the IT section, there are only like two women in my IT branch, and they all do customer telephone support and open trouble tickets. For a small business of only about 150 employees it's a pretty sad state of affairs...I really wish HR would start hiring some younger blood...but the work still gets done every day and we are meeting our quotas so not much can be done.

I really need to start looking to find another job because the attitudes of some of these women stink more than they do....and that's saying something. But the economy is shit right now and if I had to move, I would get fucked because I have a pretty good apartment with a very low monthly rent (paying like $1K a month when most other apartments are now like $2500 in my area)...its the only reason I'm keeping my head above water at the moment, so I feel trapped. At this point I just keep my head down to get through the day.
