I have no clue where you got the impression that this is an unpopular opinion. I can't escape this opinion anywhere I go online and it seems pretty disproportionate to the level of actual destruction caused by "leftists" or "SJWs".

I think the idea that acknowledging discrimination somehow equates to victimizing marginalized groups all over again is pretty stupid, but it's astonishing how effective it is sometimes, especially when it comes to feminism and a certain type of woman who seems vulnerable to this sort of tactic. The whole "acknowledging that discrimination happens is just a way of victimizing marginalized groups" thing seems to me to be a pretty transparent ploy on the part of people who want to uphold the status quo to silence dialog about discrimination altogether. It just feels like somebody pissing down my back and telling me it's raining.
