Why just cis men only? I'm an asexual so I'm sort of a part of the alphabet brigade in that sense but personally i feel like this is a backpedal from progress. I thought the entire movement was about acceptance rather than excluding straight men from things just because they're straight. I mean if the goal truly is acceptance wouldn't the best path to that end be idk maybe attempt to change the minds of straight people who are willing to allow such change to happen? I'm a bit androgynous, I've never had a non straight person call me a fucking faggot or anything as some straight people have, if we exclude the only differing opinion we've changed nothing other than the creation of an echo chamber. I remember the story of Daryl Davis changing the minds of kkk members simply by interacting with them and his person dispelling the myths they'd believed until then. That's real change and it's scary and it's difficult as all worthwhile things in this life are.
