SKT's Huni - 'I think maybe there's going to be a time when the EU LCS catches up to the LCK'

RNG just beat Fnatic 3-1. If we're talking groups, RNG split with G2 1-1, and WE and Misfits went 2-0 against one another in groups.

EU has had the upper hand at MSI with a 3-1 victory by G2 over WE in a series, yet WE played very well in Groups Stages then. However, the only season EU really had a tangible edge over LPL was S5 with the great Chinese sandbagging incident and OG+Fnatic playing well.

Even S6, with H2K getting out 1st in groups, it's not like there was any stark difference between them and say RNG who also made it out, but had to run into the SKT buzzsaw early in the Ro8, so that seasons was more a wash, if anything.

All other Worlds, LPL has usually fared much better in comparison with SHRC/Royal making Finals in both S3 and S4, OMG beating a Korean team in a straight up series in S4 and making it to Semis there, and EDG beating SKT in MSI S5.

I don't really see the general outperformance. Maybe in more recent history, but even then there's a lot more "wash" than "outright advantage" I'm seeing between the two.
