But Spacey is not based in the UK, and attempting to extradite him would take months, so the Crown Prosecution Service (or CPS) announced that they had authorized charges against him. This means that when he appears in the UK, he will be arrested. But at this time, he has not been arrested, he has not been given bail, and no trial has been set..
