I sleep 10-20 hours a day. Can I be a programmer?

I'll skip the stuff you've already considered, and assume you've tried therapies and medications that may help you live a more 'normal' life.

  1. No, not in my job. The meetings are not asynchronous. Additionally, it's veeeeeeery difficult to learn a large code base as a brand new developer without working alongside people the first few months.

  2. I work about 7.5 hours a day. I am slacking or not working that hard maybe 3 of those hours.

  3. I think you may be able to pull in $15,000 freelance, but I'm not freelance. I'd imagine it's very hard to find freelance work as a single developer who has not worked any jobs/without a name for themselves.
